THEY DEBUTED IN 2015 WITH 7 MEMBERS (SEUNGHEE, EUNICE, CATHY, JENNY, YEBIN, EUNJIN, AND CHAEYEON) WITH A FULL ALBUM NAMED DO IT AMAZING, AND THEIR TITLE TRACK "SOMEHOW (왠지)"
in december 2015, it was announced that heehyun and chaeyeon would go on produce101, dia would promote as 5 members during that time.
in march 2016, it was announced that a new member, eunchae, would be added.
in april 2016, seunghee's contract expired, and she decided not to renew.
in april 2017, two new members, jueun and somyi, joined the group.
in october 2017, somyi and yebin go on hiatus from dia, because they are on the unit, a show for idols.
somyi ranked #12 and yebin ranked #2 on the unit. this meant that yebin would promote with uni.t for a temporary amount of time and that somyi would go back to promoting with dia.
in may 2018, eunjin announced via written note that she would be leaving dia because of her health. she posted this note in dia's fancafe.
